Our Villa in the Sun
Our beautiful holiday home is situated in Rotonda West in Englewood, Florida, close to local beaches and facilities. Excellent restaurants, shops and supermarkets are only minutes away in the town of Englewood. Larger shopping malls are to be found at Port Charlotte, a 15-minute drive away.
Englewood is on the Cape Haze Peninsula, an area of unspoiled natural beauty and tranquillity. Beautiful white sandy beaches provide sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing. Indeed shelling is something of a local passion, with serious "shellers" taking to the beach every day to search for exotic shells and sharks teeth.
With Sarasota and Tampa an easy drive to the north and Fort Myers and Naples to the south, the Englewood area enjoys the enviable position of providing the excitement of a major metropolitan area with the laid back atmosphere of its rural roots.
